Dissolution

Dissolution is the last stage of liquidation, the process by which a Company is brought to an end, and the assets and property of the Company redistributed.

When a Company is dissolved, Companies House marks its records with this fact and the Company no longer exists as a separate legal entity.

The process of Restoration can reverse this process and re-instate a Company on the Companies House register.
