Nominee Director

A Nominee Director is a named person or body corporate who acts as a Company's Director in a Non-Executive capacity and in strict accordance with another person's wishes, normally set out in an agreement. The Nominee Director does not get involved in the day to day operational running of the Company. The Nominee Director normally provides a Power of Attorney to the owners of a Company to run the operational activities, bank accounts, etc.

By using Nominee Directors a Director's anonymity and confidentiality can be safeguarded. One potential use of a Nominee Director service may be to shield and protect working executives within a Company.
