Share Transfers (Executing)

We can assist you with the necessary paperwork for dealing with Share Transfers between shareholders.

It is a legal requirement that all share transfers are recorded on an appropriate share transfer form and minuted.

We will prepare the necessary share transfer forms and minutes, obtain your signature and return to us if necessary and file the relevant documents at the Stamp Office if required.

Please note: if any money passes for the shares then the share transfer form must be stamped at the Stamp Office and the appropriate amount of Stamp Duty paid if the consideration for the transfer of the shares exceeds £1,000.

Maximum of two transfers per order.

Note: From 1 October 2009 it is a legal requirement to send a Statement of Capital to Companies House if there has been a change in the share capital of the company. We will advise separately on this and advise you of the extra charge involved to assist you in preparing this document.
